Nothing good happens after 2 AM

Tyler opened his eyes, his room was dark as the night outside his unwashed window. The only thing there to light the room, even if only a bit, was his alarm clock. Without his glasses, he was as blind as a bat. Tyler grabbed his glasses and put them on, he yawned and glanced at the annoying red light of his clock.

It's after 2 AM... His dad had always told him nothing good happened after 2 AM... Tyler dragged himself out of bed, unknowing of why he was up at this hour. He threw on his checkered jacket, yet stayed in his pajamas. I mean he was wearing a shirt and pants...

...Good enough! 
He opened the door to his apartment, and thought about why he would wake himself up at a time like this....When he saw why...
Right down the hallway from his apartment door, stood his girlfriend Ashley making out with the guy with the same name as himself. Ty. Tyler felt hurt, and betrayed, and most of all, sad. 
He and Ashley had a fight the previous night....And now she was making out with one of his friends right down the hall from him... RIGHT DOWN THE HALL! 
Tyler slowly closed the door behind him and glanced at the floor, no longer wanting to look at the two. He walked down the hall mostly looking at the terribly colored carpet and his own feet, when he was right next to the two he hesitated for just a moment. They smelt of beer and wine...
Then he mumbled something just loud enough for the two of them to hear before heading off back to his room.


"Nothing good ever happens... After 2 AM..."


He entered back into his room and shut the door, before the frantic footsteps of his now ex-girlfriend could get nearer. He threw off his jacket and walked back to his bed. His clock seemed to smirk at him, and he glared in response. He crawled back into bed and took off his glasses. He looked at his clock and whispered to himself,

"When it's after 2 AM... Just go to sleep.."


And that's exactly what he did...
